  1. Nice work! Sacred Kingfisher (Todiramphus sanctus) arrived here a couple weeks ago. If you hear them calling a rapid keree, keree, keree, keree keree they are in the vicinity of their nest. Look for a small hollow or hole in a tree nearby. Partially migratory, to northern Australia, some go as far as Indonesia and New Guinea. The Rainbow bee-eaters have arrived too. Check out sand hills or any sandy ground. They make a tunnel in the sand to nest.
