Experimenting with landscape
Two very different treatments.

I live in Patho, Australia.
Two very different treatments.

It was impressive but by the time I got to the shot it had almost disappeared.

The unseasonable weather seems to be driving the spiders inside the house. This one was very much alive and lurking about on the kitchen wall.

He’s only 11, and his turn finally came about. I worry about him and all the other kids today. They’re so aware, but bravely face up to it all. ‘Specially love this one.

So here’s the next one. I thought maybe I should crop out the car and the post. (although they do add interest). I’d like to move the tree in the middle. I should have moved along when composing it. I think the pic below is still too busy with the tree, the hayshed and the reflection.

I have missed my regular posting because I went off to a music festival and totally immersed myself with playing music. I was camping out for the best part of the week, The weather was amazingly unpredictable with searing heat, drenching downpours and finally cold-enough-to-get-the-blanket-out when the sun finally set. Threats of lightning and storms late one night, sent all scrambling to protect the instruments and equipment and even closed the stage up early. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time but my power to computer and phone ran out soon after I arrived and that was that. No more posts here for me. But, I’m back now and life is returning to routine.
This year, I hope to include a new style of pic for me, as I try my hand at capturing landscapes. Here’s the first. This is a ‘road’ that I can use to get between my new shop and where I live on the farm, a distance of 5 kilometres. It’s slower this way, and bumpier, but much more picturesque.

Some of the early arrivals at Girgarre Moosic Muster. So glad the heat has eased up a bit. Lots of fun to be had playing music and meeting up with friends. I had lots of fun learning a new dance, Stripping the Willow. Crazy! More laughter than dancing!

..growing by the side of the track, spotted on my morning walk, by the lagoon.

I couldn’t not take a pic of this tree in Gunbower. It has an amazing color that I failed to really capture. It’s just stunning.

That’s 40 plus outside. One of the benefits of my new shop is the air conditioning. Maybe today I had it on too high, because the theme seemed to be ‘cold’. To while away my time, (between the Covid scare and the blistering heat there were vey few customers wandering around), I made some little creatures to add to the collection, 2 tiny penguins and a fox.
