Strange weather
…and interesting clouds.

…and interesting clouds.

My hollyhock is flowering

I saw this cactus in a friend’s back yard. Ready to flower.

I’m waiting impatiently for this new rose to open.

The tree looks like nature has wrapped it in tinsel for Christmas. A single red rose, or two, on a bush that continues defiantly to produce and a very fragile flower surviving in a rambling garden bed.

This tree grew up self sown by the side of the road near my house. It is probably a bit close to the road but we let it grow up anyway. It has developed a problem. Any ideas as to what might be causing it??

This is a creative letter box a few kilometres from our place.

My house is on the left hand side of the road, almost opposite this magnificent river red gum. Today it lost a limb.
