These two came for a fleeting visit, last week. They stayed for a day or two and moved on.

I’m not sure what this one was up to. There were a pair in a tree. And this one was acting like a woodpecker!

I saw this beauty by the side of the road last week. I wish I had been quicker to focus on him when he flew away.




I haven’t been able to be out and about, so I included a random assortment of birds today.




…..while having a quick bite to eat.



These were all lined up along the same stretch of bank. They seemed to be very happily co-existing.





I’m not sure about this one. I think it is an egret but it could be a heron. Apparently they are very similar.

This one has a black bill and it’s a Royal Spoonbill.

The black bill is very impressive.
