My poppies were lovely but now in the height of summer, they turned from flowers to seed pods and then they disappeared.

I’m hoping that they will emerge self sown next year. Meanwhile I saved these pics of the pods.

But not like you usually see them.

I am fascinated by seed pods. They’re mesmerizing.
