Is this a ‘Flower of the Day’?
Would this be suitable for Cee’s Flower of the Day (FOTD)?

I took this at a place called Sea Lake, Victoria, Australia. It features on my blog this week, so I thought I’d contribute to Becky’s Square Challenge

.
It’s another very dull morning, just like last week when I saw this little guy when we set out on our caravaning trip. He seemed to also be hunkered down trying to keep warm.

It’s still wet, so I’ve gone back home. Still I would like to grow such beautiful flowers.

This is a flower that I wouldn’t attempt to grow at home because of the weather difference. It loves it here in the wet.

Maybe it’s easing up. Away from home. Hunkered down inside. Raining outside. No photography for me today.

Such a contrast and not 50 km apart. We drove throughout The Little Desert, south of Nhill and stayed overnight in a small town in a misty hollow called Harrow. We were the only travellers there, very peaceful.
Snapped these pigeons perched on an old silo on my trip.

There’s actually water here at the moment
A BIG chicken. Actually it is a native mallee fowl. Seen on my travels.
