Shop front
My Gift and Gallery shop front is being brightened up by a very talented local artist, Rebecca Wells. I love it.

The light was just beautiful as the sun went down and the storm intensified.

Here’s another reason why the photos, as well as the garden, have been neglected a little lately. (I’ve also been driven inside by the relentless heat.)
This was the result of my daughter tempting me to ‘try it’ in the music shop. I bonded immediately. It just feels good. And it sounds amazing. Looks kinda strange, for a uke. It’s deliberately made by Fender to resemble their guitar. Plugs into the amp too. My finger tips on my left hand are past painful, now numb. I left it in the shop for a few hours. But, it drew me back and it came home with me.

These pretty water lilies are a real pest in out area. They clog up the waterways.

I had to look to see these tiny little flowers in my glasshouse.

I’d love to boast about my green thumb, but the pics tell a different story. I’ve already admitted that I have been neglecting my plants lately, but they’ve really suffered at the expense of the heat and me spending time off-farm. From my glasshouse… Iove the colours but me thinks it doesn’t bode well.

It’s been very hot and I’ve been busy with my new shop and renovating the building attached to it. So, my glasshouse has been neglected. It’s on automatic watering, but not automatic weeding and tending. Here’s a survivor or two. I love the variation in the leaf colours.

Quite a lovely blue in the sun.
