More Lake Tyrell
To be honest, I didn’t stray far from the car park. It was nippy, not enough to deter a paddler. I found these interesting objects on the sand.

Stayed overnight here. Chilly, no power for the heater, but a really wonderful place. Even in the middle of winter.

I can remember when this salty lake in the middle of nowhere was quite a wild and remote place to be. I haven’t been there for many years, since my husband raced buggies around the dunes. It looks like it has been revamped for the tourist market. And there were a few tourists discovering it.
A sky lounge!

Lots of boardwalks

All for this.

On my travels around I loved looking at the efforts of creative people on my journey, whether they be large and small.
From two fridges transformed into a mini library to a huge silo.

I spotted this old fella in a field on a very wet and miserable day. He wasn’t about to be doing much at all, just lying around conserving his energy. He captured the mood (pardon the pun) of my day.

Would this be suitable for Cee’s Flower of the Day (FOTD)?

I took this at a place called Sea Lake, Victoria, Australia. It features on my blog this week, so I thought I’d contribute to Becky’s Square Challenge

.
It’s another very dull morning, just like last week when I saw this little guy when we set out on our caravaning trip. He seemed to also be hunkered down trying to keep warm.

It’s still wet, so I’ve gone back home. Still I would like to grow such beautiful flowers.

This is a flower that I wouldn’t attempt to grow at home because of the weather difference. It loves it here in the wet.
