I was looking over these photos and wondering about the importance of a subject. Does a pictures always need something to draw the eye in?
The bird in the first picture wandered off into the bushes. You can still see it, but you have to look. You can easily see it in the second pic.
Is there a bird in the third picture? Too much other stuff to look at…
And the last picture. Is the subject interesting enough to make it a good picture? It’s fascinating to me, how the tree is almost gone, yet there is still all sorts of life emerging from the stump.
