Christmas Day is done

You can tell. The tale decorations are wilting. the shoes, worn when canoeing, are drying in the heat and the muffin tray is empty. The kitchen’s still a mess, the fridge is full of leftovers and the g’kids are snoring in their beds, exhausted. So am I.

Xmas fun

Santa came early so the g’kids get to enjoy some extra days of summer fun on the lagoon out front. This one is having a wonderful time.

A change of direction

I usually have lots of pics to share, but a new interest is consuming my time. I have finally opened the door of my shop. It’s taken some time to work through all the steps necessary to be allowed to open the door. I’m on a steep learning curve. The first lesson has been patience.

This is the front section. It will be both a Gallery and a Gift Shop and like this blog, will evolve over time. I will have art works and produce by locals and myself, as well as some unusual giftware. At the moment the front window has a large Christmas tree.

New Bridge at Echuca

It’s only exciting maybe, if you live in the area, but the bridge across to NSW from Victoria, at Echuca, looks a step closer to completion. It has been a very long time of road closures and traffic disruptions, but it will be wonderful when it is in use.
