A shy visitor
He was trying to hide behind a piece of wood, a friendly visitor to the new place we’ve been ‘doing up’.

These two were spotted in Echuca, a nearby town, living dangerously, enjoying the puddles. I hope they survive.

Beautiful birds but they really damage the trees.



First day of summer today.





The hay is cut and drying out in the bays. Between the bays wild poppies have sprung up self sown. This year there are lots. Must have been the weather. It’s been a strange year, cooler and wetter than usual.



My hydrangea flowers change dramatically as they age.




I snapped these on the way to collect the gran’son in the school garden.


I saw this in a park and was surprised when I noticed the beautiful flower. I have no idea what it is.
