So much pink
Beautiful birds but they really damage the trees.

Beautiful birds but they really damage the trees.

First day of summer today.

The hay is cut and drying out in the bays. Between the bays wild poppies have sprung up self sown. This year there are lots. Must have been the weather. It’s been a strange year, cooler and wetter than usual.

My hydrangea flowers change dramatically as they age.

Attended a meeting outdoors tonight, against this beautiful backdrop in Gunbower.

There are so many raptors around at the minute. I guess they know it’s time to cut the hay. They circle round looking for a meal.

Driving home from Bendigo tonight, I had to stop to admire the colours. Sadly, there were too many clouds to see the special lunar eclipse.

At least there was some color in the garden.

The green colored bee-eater has some friends that appear to be more blue colored. They are very striking.
