I wanted to take photos of this little fella, but I think he spotted me and flew off. I think he’s a white faced heron.
His legs are long, but his wings are even more impressive.

Wow, yes he does have quite a wingspan! I love how his white face shows even as he’s facing off in the direction of his flight.
